Hi I’m Zach.

I live with OCD and I want you to know you’re not alone. I’ve been in the trenches, fought the war and learned to love my brain, rather than escape it. I know what almost killed me can help you live courageously.

My story

my story

In late 2016, I was diagnosed with a chronic brain disorder known as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) where the core symptoms were severe anxiety, deep depression and thoughts of suicide.

By utilizing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) talk therapy, meditation, persistence, and making lifestyle changes I was eventually able to get my symptoms to a manageable place.

Through my journey of recovery I promised myself that if and when I got better, I would never let anyone else suffer in silence. My recovery was not easy or short. It took a lot of effort to relearn my brain, but years later, I am so thankful that I took the necessary step of seeking professional help. It has made all the difference in my life.

I recovered so I could prove to others that they could too. Now, my goal is to get in front of as many people as possible to let them know they are not alone and that hope for recovery from OCD is possible. This is what it means to live courageously.

BE A PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF

As an OCD advocate, I’ve had the opportunity to speak with thousands of people across the globe and I’ve learned something. OCD impacts people of all races, religions, sexual orientations and cultural backgrounds. I’ve also learned that as human beings, we all generally want the same things: peace of mind, love, and freedom to pursue our life’s dreams. We are deeply connected by our experience of living with OCD and that’s what makes us special.

This is why I’ve decided to pledge 10% of all revenues to fund research and development for improved treatments for OCD & push the agenda to seek a cure. No one deserves to suffer and this is our big first step together. When you join this community, you’re not just joining for yourself, you’re joining a community that wants to change the world for the better. I can’t wait to be a part of this with you.
